In this post let’s see how you can convert VCE files to PDF.VCE is a file format associated with Visual CertExam Software.It is one of the widely used file type for creating tests for IT certification. If you have prepared for any certification I am quite certain that you would have come across this file format. In order to open exam papers in this extension you need Visual CertExam Suite.

There are many reasons why test papers are created with Visual CertExam because this suite provides an environment as similar to that of real exams. But there also many disadvantages when it comes to this file format. You might prefer to take the digital version of the sample questions to your work place and get your self prepared for the exam. But you cannot read it unless suite is installed on your machine. In most cases administrative rights will not be available in systems at workplace making it nearly impossible to read the exam papers. Or you might like to carry the exam paper on your portable devices to prepare on the go. But .VCE will not be understood by most of the E-book readers. But it’s not the case with PDF files which will be understood by all E-readers. Hence it is a better option to convert your .VCE exam papers to PDF documents.

Convert VCE Files to PDF for Free

1.First download VCE Exam Simulator and install it on your home PC. This will install Visual CertExam Designer and Visual CertExam Manager.

2.Now download and install any PDF printers.For example: PrimoPDF or CutePDF

3.Launch Visual CertExam Designer and open your exam paper.

4.Go to File menu and click Print.

5.Select the name of the printer in our case it’s Primo or CutePDF then select the exams you want to be saved as PDF.And click ok.

6.In case of PrimoPDF click on create PDF and select destination location.And you are Done!

Here are other alternative solutions which allows you to use mobile app to open your files.

How to Open VCE Files on your Mobile?

If above method didn’t workout here is an easier option if you are an Android user. With this you can not only open VCE file but can also take practice exams on the go.

1. Go to Google play store and install A+ VCE Player.

2. Download your VCE file in phone or copy, paste it in SD card by connecting mobile to system as USB storage.

3. Now open A+ VCE Player, click Add icon on top right corner-> File and browse, select your exam file.

4. That’s it. Open your document and click start.

How to Open .VCE File on Android Mobile

Non Android users follow the below steps.

1. Download and install BlueStacks Android Emulator. While installing make sure Enable App Store option is turned on.

2. Open Bluestacks, click search on top left. Type in A+ Vce Player and click search play at the bottom.

How to Convert VCE file to PDF using A+ Vce Player

3. If prompted, enter your Gmail credentials. Then select and install the app.

4. Copy, paste all VCE files at C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\SharedFolder in your PC.

5. Now open the player, click Add->File->sdcard->windows->BstSharedFolder and select document you want.

6. Run the exam, print screen (Press PrtScn) and paste in to Word document. Then save it as PDF and carry it in your mobile device.

Note: Some users are reporting free version of A+ Vce player allows you to open up to 60 questions, you can buy full version here. It’s an one-time pay.

So following above mentioned steps you would be able to convert all your VCE files to PDF that too for Free. Did it work for you?

        2. your file have all MCQs but you are useing trial version of Examcert that is why you just 5 question, downlaod crack version of exam cert after that you will be able to get all.

        1. Just understood the limitation of 5 questions is because of the trail version. You need to get full version to see all questions and to print the same. Any how I have convert it for you. If you found this article useful share it on social networks 😀

      But you have totally misunderstood the context of it. What I meant was you might not have admin rights in your work place to install the suite to read VCE files so install the suite on your home PC and convert it to PDF so that you can read the eBooks in office with Adobe Reader without the requirement of Visual CertExam Designer.

          You need not install that software in your office PC instead install it on your home PC and convert it into PDF then email it to yourself which you can read in office via Adobe Reader. If even this not possible I will help you out 😀

  42. I am running into the same problem as above. When I try to open the file I receive the message saying that the file was created with an older version, and to download a newer version. I can open using version 3.0.1, but I cannot find a full version of it, only the demo (5 question limit). Anyone have a link to a full version of the new software?

    thx for your precious work on this…i have only a question/doubt, it works perfectly with last VC suite and PrimoPDF, but the output file for a complete VCE i’m working on (about 180 questions) is of about 150MB (unusable)!!!
    I have found around the PDF for the same exam and it’s about 9/10 MB…do you know how to reduce the size of the output file?it’s something related to the suite Designer, to the PrimoPDF or both?

      I bought the Virtual CertExam yesterday from the oficial site, but for some unknown reason I just can’t install it on my Win7 laptop after having tried all compatibility options. Their support told me to use “Run as administrator” option, I did it but did not work either (I’m the machine admin).

      I have some VCE files that I need to study for Cisco re-certification next month. Can you help me with the conversion or with any hint about the installation problem?

    I had a go at the above steps. Got to the first two steps but VCE will only be on TRIAL COPY. Hence I had “In the trial version you cannot save current exam file. Are you sure you want to close the current exam file and open another one?” Not sure if I’m on the right track. Please advise. Appreciate it.

        Using the latest VCE files , an error is displayed complaining about the version used to create the VCE file is a later version. The latest version (full) requires a subscription.

        Any solution you can prescribe for this by any chance?

        I’m busy with my MCSE 2012 so require the 415 416 & 417 exams, i’ve scoured the internet with no luck and would really like to avoid a $19.99 expense.

  253. The main problem arised when the new version of VCE reader/designer was introduced:(

    They changed the file format so that older users with paid&legal standalone VCE-products cannot open the files any more:(

    The current version is a SAAS-product and we must pay for it monthly. Even if we have the original one 🙁

    Even the amount of starting times is limited to make things more difficult and more expensive 🙁

    This title is misleading. The VCE-files I uploaded to examcollection once, cannot be opened with the exam manager any more. It tells me to update. Even though I bought a Life time license.

    THAT is the reason I want to migrate away from vce. For free.

  341. I use Bluestacks and A+ VCE Classic and want to captue the question and answer to Word and print to PDF.

    Since some VCE questions require scrolling, pressing Print Screen or Alt-Print Screen cannot capture the full question and answer.

    Can anybody give me some hints of captuting the full questions and answers of VCE exams. using Bluestacks and A+ VCE?

        i installed the A+ VCE player through Bluestack app, but after passed to 60 questions, it is asking to exit, and popup coming with install another paid version A+ vce classic or something.., not sure how to proceed, if you want i will share the snap-shot,

    With your suggestions plenty of malware virus has entered into system.

    It has affected my entire system, there is no way to open VCE file and your VCE to PDF conversion is in fact a huge foolishness. I don’t know if you are doing this purposefully or what 🙁

    Guys.. Please be careful and don’t run any exe files suggested by Mohammad here
