download pdf from scribd without paying In this article we will be seeing how to download PDF documents from Scribd without having an account, paying or uploading documents. Scribd is considered to be one of the best place of resource containing valuable documents and files covering almost all fields. It allows user to view documents online with the need of any account. But at times you might prefer to download docs for later or offline access. It does provides you an option of downloading files in PDF format but with some restrictions like you need to have an account to login or should connect via Facebook ,then to download the file you should either pay subscription fee or upload some document. Previously you can by pass this restriction by printing files using virtual PDF printer and saving it to your disk. But now Scribd changed the way in which you can print, as of now you have to download the document to get it printed hence the download restriction automatically comes into picture. When you are in a hurry these restrictions are sure to bring you frustration. So lets see how to by pass them.

How To Download Files from Scribd for Free Without Having an Account or Uploading Documents:

You can use any of the following methods

  • Greasemonkey Scribd Downloader Script:

    • 1. If you are a Firefox user, first install Greasemonkey add-on on your browser. If you are a chrome user you need not install this add-on you can proceed to next step.

    2. Install this Scribd Downloader Script .

    3. Now as usual view the documents in Scribd and click the download button available at the bottom right. You will be prompted to open or save the file, rename and save it as you wish.

  • Scribd Mobile Site to Download Documents:

    • If you are not comfortable with installing scripts use this manual method. Actually above script internally does this.

    1. Note down the unique ID of the document from the url.

    Eg:

    http://www.scribd.com/doc/60232123/abcdef

    2. Go to Scribd mobile optimized site.

    3. Enter the ID you noted down and click search.

    4. Now save the file by clicking on Download Now button.

    One of our reader’s Tony has mentioned that his browser is being redirecting back to original URL of the eBook on clicking Download Now button. This is probably because of late Scribd has changed it’s way of handling different user agents. So here is a new fix for it.

    1. Install User Agent Switcher add-on and restart your browser.

    2. Follow the above steps till step 3. Just do a search and keep, don’t click the download button.

    3. Now go to Tools-> Default User Agent-> iPhone 3.0. Now click the button. You will be able to download as usual again.

    Biblio has mentioned that the updated user agent fix has stopped working. Here is a new fix. Just an additional step to the latest fix. This time you need to change form method attribute to get rid of the error message.

    1. Install Firebug add-on and restart your browser.

    2. Follow the above method till step 2.

    3. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open Firebug HTML inspect mode.

    4. Hover over the download button. You will find that form tag is highlighted in the code section below. Click post and change it to get i.e. method=”post” to method=”get”

    5. Now as before change the user agent and click download.

    Yet again there has been an update to existing system. Here is the updated version.

    1. First change the user agent string to Android then go to mobile site and search for the doc using the unique ID or directly go to the concerned document.

    2. Now directly hit the download button.

    [Update- Sept 29,2012]

    This time after a long wait, I was able to find a workaround. Here’s how it goes.

    1. Download and install any PDF printer. For e.g. PrimoPDF

    2. Go to the appropriate document you need. From URL note the unique ID as usual.

    3. Right click on the page and select View Page Source. And search for access_key and note down the string which is between the quotes.

    E.g. key-13davbcdewnewn9m5w02

    4. Now modify ID, access key and replace it with one’s you have noted down. Then paste it in address bar and hit enter.

    5. Click on the print link in top left corner. In the pop up that comes up select print which is under standard quality.

    6. Now you need to select primo as name of your printer. And click OK.

    7. In the PrimoPDF window that comes up, click create PDF then select a location and save it.

    *Note: Above trick is not guaranteed to work against all documents though.

    [Update- March 01,2014]

    1. Go to the concerned document and click Download or Print button on the right.

    2. You will be redirected to a page which asks you to pay or contribute to get the document.

    3. Click on upload and select any valid text file with some content in it. Preferably type your own content, because the system checks for duplication. Or if you have some helpful document which might be useful to others, well and good you can upload that.

    5. Give some title, description and click on save and continue. You will be getting a success message as below.

    6. Click on the return to download link. Now finally press download button again to get the document.

          1. Hi. I need help downloading off of a 3rd party website (the-notebook.co.uk) which is hosting Scribd on its own URL when opening the file. I need to print it to be able to revise the notes efficiently, but it won’t let me. It doesn’t even give me a Scribd URL.

            I found ‘82025760’ in the source code, which I think is the document number for Scribd, but it won’t let me open http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/82025760. It gives an error like “you don’t have permission to view this document”.

    I was trying to download a manual for my TV. I don’t mind paying for books and other original content, but I hate when people try to charge me for content that they didn’t write and don’t own.

    BTW, I used the mobile site option and it worked great for me.

  10. hi.. this trick didn’t work for me.. i am using firefox 11. i have installeed the greecemonkey add-on and scribd script. but i couldn’t find the download button at the bottom right of the webpage.. i tried restarting the browser many times.. someone please put the screenshot..

    1. Try the userscript now. Author of the script has updated it. The problem is because Scribd has changed it’s design layout.

  12. I’m also using Firefox 11 and it’s not working for me. I just installed GreaseMonkey and the script today so I have the most up-to-date version.

    The URL of the document I am trying to download is:

    If I try to download the site, the browser just returns me to the original URL. The same thing happens when I try to download the site using the “mobile” option. I just get taken back to the URL above…

      In chrome console you should find your way in the code to reach the “post” item. It is under div class container.

      Thanks for your comment. All online document downloader’s have stopped working since scribd updated it’s system of late. Even the above service does not work, you are again being redirected to original URL of ebook on clicking download. As of now 2nd method I have mentioned seems to work. Do give it a try.

  44. Thanks to the above information, I can download files perfectly.
    Hopefully to help others here is a step by step method:

    1. Using Firefox, install the addons:
    User Agent Switcher – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/
    Firebug – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firebug/

    2. Restart Firefox

    3. Find document on scribd site.

    4. Note document’s ID
    Eg.
    ID = 44025189

    5. Go to the mobile version of the scribd site, specifically go to http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/ with the document ID appended.
    Eg.
    http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/26600291

    6. From the Tools menu (Press ALT if Firefox menubar not visible) click ‘Default User Agent’ and select ‘iPhone 3.0’. Now Firefox will appear to sites as if it is running on an iPhone.
    Note: Change back, via Tools menu select ‘iPhone 3.0’ and then select ‘Default User Agent’ option.

    7. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open Firebug HTML inspect mode and hover over the download button for a short time until a section of code appears in the Firebug window (normally at bottom).

    8. Right-click the download button to set the inspection point, else if you move the mouse to the lower screen it will pass over and inspect HTML other than the download button.

    9. In the Firebug window look for the preceding form tag and click on the value ‘post’ of the method attribute, make sure the value ‘post’ is now in a little edit box; delete post and enter ‘get’.
    (This is shown clearly in a screen shot at the beginning of this page.)

    Eg. The 2nd line is the code for the download button

    Changed to:

    10. Now click the download button and the file will be downloaded.

    In the example used, the file was saved as “uCiyFrdC353hg_kiC1feAx2uhhg”, use a hex editor or file identification utility (eg. File Investigator 1.50, originally by Robware, a freeware version can be downloaded from http://downloads.pcworld.com/pub/new/utilities/file_management/fi150sw.exe) to determine file type and then rename the document with the correct file extension.
    I renamed uCiyFrdC353hg_kiC1feAx2uhhg to Shadowrun_14_Nosferatu.pdf

    Hope this helps in some way, and thanks to the original author(s) of this article.

      Key points to note are:

      – Change your User Agent to iPhone 3.0 just before you click Download button. Till then you need not change it.

      – Similarly change post to get before you click download. Refer the screenshot.

  47. Hey, there’s an even easier way to download from Scribd. I run Fiddler 2, set a break point, click download and then edit the request header to say ‘GET’. Takes 2 seconds, lol.

  52. since you have deleted my comment – me asking whether this is legal, it probably isn’t safe. your post makes it give a false sense of legality, and if it were all normal.
    while scribd may infringe on copyright themselves, anyone who – using this method – grabs (steals?) documents off their database is then breaking laws twice? 1) copyright infringements (if it is copyrighted etc) and then 2) breaking in to scribd servers using their buggy coding. how would this be called if one did this with an online shop – ordering something like a pair jeans for free to be delivered home.
    don’t get me wrong, i think it is disgusting that scribd forces you to pay or upload useless stuff to download. and i am sure folks at scribd are fully aware that it is free books people are after.
    but as i said, people might break laws twice by using this method. and no one knows whether scribd or some content mafia people will ever want to go after them. rules and international cooperation are tightening. just think about ACTA. or megaupload.
    again, the problem here is: is this legal? or breaking laws. and your post (and the bug and tools itself) makes it look as if one were just doing the most normal thing on earth. are they?

I have just pointed out that this is possible I am not forcing anyone to use this method to download stuffs for free. Decision is totally left to readers hands.           I think you are barking up the wrong tree by attempting to attack Mr. Sundaram for writing an article on how to obtain a lot of the FREELY LICENSED content on Scribd. Mr. Sundaram has already pointed out that authors of content on Scribd have the option to enable or disable downloads of their documents, and one would assume that if a particular author wished to disallow users from copying or downloading their works, they would have simply disabled the ability of users to download said works. From what i have read so far, it does not appear that Mr. Sundaram is offering up any code to bypass the wishes of any of the actual AUTHORS of the content on Scribd when a user makes it clear to him that what they wanted to download is unavailable by its author(s).

          I personally was driven to Mr. Sundaram’s article while attempting to obtain a copy of a document that is licensed under CREATIVE COMMONS ATTRIBUTION NON-COMMERCIAL SHARE-ALIKE 3.0 UNPORTED LICENSE. Thus, my intent to download this document–AND FURTHER SHARE SUCH DOCUMENT (as long as I attribute the original author to the work, charge no money for it, and include a copy of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike 3.0 license with the work) is perfectly LEGAL and appropriate as these are the exact intentions that the license of this document dictates.

          Furthermore, even if the document I was trying to obtain was under an “All Rights Reserved” copyright, I doubt Scribd could even claim “publishing” rights as many of the documents uploaded to Scribd have already been published (the one i am looking at has been published by Lund University), the author has merely *shared* his/her work in a bit of web space that he/she has paid for by virtue of having a Scribd account (as of this writing, no accounts are free). So at best, Scribd is acting as one of many DISTRIBUTORS–who do not receive copyright protections from an author or publisher’s work.

          I am a composer and publish many of my scores under the same license and would not hesitate to take legal action for copyright infringement against any website who attempted to withhold my content in order to extort others for monetary (commercial) gain, given that the license clearly states that my scores are not to be shared for commercial use. Furthermore, if I were to publish a book of scores that i have written with, say…Mel-Bay (who publishes books of written music) under an All Rights Reserved copyright–though the various music stores who sold this book could charge whatever they wanted for commercial gain, they could not claim “rights” to the work, and therefore would not have any legal grounds for copyright infringement.

          So to summarize, what Mr. Sundaram appears to be doing here is advocating freedom of information for free information, which to my knowledge, is legal. What Scribd is doing on the other hand, is *questionable* at best and should be investigated.

    Here is an alternative to your latest fix for people who have the webdeveloper addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-developer/) : in the “forms” menu, go to “convert form methods” and select “POST to GET”. Then click on download.
    (I’m not 100% sure of the exact wording, as I don’t use this addon in english)
    It avoids installing firebug in addition of webdeveloper.

    1. Install User Agent Switcher add-on and restart your browser (not necesarry on Chrome).

    2. Follow the above steps till step 3. Just do a search and keep, don’t click the download button.

    3. Now go to Tools-> Default User Agent-> Android-> Motorola Xoom.

    4. With Chrome, click 2, inspect element. As is described before: Hover over the download button. You will find that form tag is highlighted in the code section below. Click post and change it to get i.e. method=”post” to method=”get”

    5. Now just hit “download” button, and nothing alse.

    Voila! Is working.

    There is a small update to the latest method:

    When you are at the 4th step (Hover over the download button) if you already find that the form method is get instead of post just leave it as it is then change user agent and click download.

    1. I have selected that the scribd.com webpage to be displayed always with the user agent motorola xoom. So, when i browse the website, and select a document, i have only to inspect the element and see if i have to change the post with get metod, to download the documents. Nothing alse, with the chrome browser.

  122. I have been unsuccessful trying to use the 5/28 method.

    First problem: If I try to go to the Scribd mobile optimized site before setting the User Agent to Iphone 3.0, it automatically redirects to the main site (www.scribd.com)

    Second problem: If I first set the user agent to Iphone 3.0 I am able to view the mobile site. But if perform a search using the unique document ID and click on the result, the screen goes blank. I can not progress any further.

    Do you have any advice?

    Here’s what I had to do though, the only thing that wasn’t working was the searching on the mobile site :/
    (it wasn’t working for any search term at all strangely)

    -installed firefox addon “User Agent RG” required no restart
    -found the unique id of the document in the url and copied it.
    -switched user agent to android
    (hit “alt” on firefox to make the toolbar appear in the top of the screen, went to tools, useragent, then clicked android)
    -then I went to the mobile site “/mobile/
    and clicked on a random document at the home page
    -replaced the unique number in the url of the random document with the one of the doc I wanted
    -clicked download
    -renamed to .pdf
    -opened and cheered in joy and success! 😛

    Hope this helps anyone with any issues… lol

    Instead the second works but needs just a little bug: after having clicked the search button you have to change again to default useragent otherwise the big button download now doesn’t appear. And then change again useragent to iphone before clicking the button.

  260. User agent switching and going to mobile site works great. I had issues only in finding the book using the ID. What I did was:

    1. Switched agent to Android, and went to: http://www.scribd.com/mobile/
    2. Searched for the title of the book – obviously didn’t find it.
    3. Clicked on any of the search result in mobile search result view
    4. Noted the URL to be like: http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/xxxxxx/html5
    5. Replaced the xxxxx in 4 with ID of the document I wanted to download.

    Worked like a charm. Thanks for the tip!

  307. Following worked for me (I tried the tutorial step for step before, so greasemonkey-script was running…):

    – Go to User Agent Switcher’s settings an click the link in the bottom right corner (download additional user agents)
    – Download and import the XML-file
    – now choose Mobile Devices -> WAP phone -> Nokia 6630
    – Go to mobile version of the document and click “Download Now”

  312. I am currently using chrome so had a bit of bother at first. I found that the ‘mobile scribd’ site only worked when I used “Ultimate agent switcher” app and selected ‘Android’ as my option before loading the page.

    When I inspected the download it was already using “Get” which also made it able for download.

  322. Nevermind. I got it. Apparently I just choose the wrong book. And persisted to try downloading it relentlessly, which failed, until it didn’t because I picked something else. Should have realized something was different when it had the “buy” option instead of the “download” option on its (regular) scribd profile page.

    Worked like a charm with everything else I tried an hour later. Couldn’t be done with some exciting ones I was imagining to me miiiiiineee.

  336. Hey everyone, for those people claiming for help try this:

    1- Use Firefox browser;
    2- Install the User Agent Switcher add-on;
    3- Install this XML file on the User Agent Switcher, it has a lot of browser models! ;
    4- Select one of the oldest mobile browsers! (i.e. Android 0.5 – Safari 419);
    5- Access the root scribd website ;
    6- You will se a lot simple version of the website “mobile browser version”, so click on the search icon (magnet icon);
    7- Paste the unique ID from the original URL;
    8- “Download Now” button should appear instantly.

    Why choose an old mobile browser? Scribd is working on software for all the new kinds of mobile phones and operating system to support the “pay-per-download” or the “share-to-download” politics. But, the oldest mobile phone should be not a target for them. In this case they just allow the user to Download the content without login, sharing or paying.

          After replacing and all that doing that you mentioned, the page goes into the ‘typesetting’ mode and after that the ‘i o streaming error’ could be shown. It cannot shown even the preview of the whole pdf so that we can go into print mode.
          it Directly shown the ‘ i o Streaming’ error.

          is that really working from your side sir..?? because i tried two-three different documents…!!

      2. After posting above, I retried my efforts to download and print another document and it works sometimes. If I right click off to the side of the document and click on “view page source”, I find the link “http://www.scribd.com/services/oembed?….=json” and click on it, it takes me to a script page. I highlight the part in quotes
        “http://d1.scribdassets.com/ScribdViewer.swf?document_id…….scroll”, copy and paste into URL and if a blue screen comes up with a download and print menu I’ve succeeded. If not, then I can’t print. All of this in done in Firefox with Greasemonkey added on.

  388. Your new key hack (http://d1.scribdassets.com/ScribdViewer.swf?document_id=xxxxxxx&access_key=key-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) works but it only lets you download premium membership content at standard quality. Also the entire document saves as an image PDF only (no selectable / editable text).

    It’s easier to just upload a document to scribd and download the higher quality version for free.

    I applaud your efforts.

    Scribd is nice as a last resort; but better still, is libgen.org (only available from outside the U.S.).

    For those in the U.S., check out the Tor Browser Bundle (TBB) here:

    Then edit the Torrc file to include the following lines:
    StrictNodes 1
    ExcludeExitNodes {US}

    Honestly though, you are too nice to these beggars. You are providing them with SIMPLE step by step methods to get books for FREE.

    Apparently some people “urgently” want books ,which can be viewed perfectly online. For these same people it’s JUST NOT URGENT ENOUGH to buy said books. You would think that people would actually put some effort into cashing the low, low price of FREE.

    The flash fix method works on some documents, but not all.

    1. If a screen shot works just use the PrintScrn key and paste it into Paint, or shift+’open apple’+3 keys all at once on a Mac.

      Oh, and this isn’t working for me either. I get an “IO Error streaming document” error on IE9 and Chrome22.

    Because if you are, that step is not clearly explained in your instructions.

    In any case, it doesn’t work and I get the same response as ISHFAK below, “IO error streaming document”.

    I even tried the example address, however this one had an access key error which I imagine is due to changes in access keys?
    Anyway, mine didn’t get past the IO steam error with the latest fix and the older method of changing agents didn’t work either. I never got the download button.

    1. Also, you must wait till the flash document has as fully loaded otherwise it will give you an error. In my case there were several pages. After the last page loaded and was visible, I could print to pdf. That takes a while too but it worked. Thanks again!

  452. Hello, thanks for the walk through. I’m currently using the Chrome method where I have the useragent spoofer extension installed.

    When I make a search on the mobile site, I don’t a ‘download’ button by the results. If I click on one of the results, its takes me to the document but on that page there’s no download button either. I can see the document and if I try to right click it to save, I get the option to save it as a ‘web page’ not as pdf.

    1. Please look into the source code and get the access key. Where as ID can be found in the URL. Then form the URL as mentioned in step 4 and continue from there on.

    1. Just right click each page and select print page. Will take forever… You could probably write a script to do it for you while you go take a nap somewhere LOL. Best to write a macro to just scroll down the space between the center of one page to the next and right click and print. Tell it to loop this action for how many pages there are. Good Luck.

    To use this method—

    This time after a long wait, I was able to find a workaround. Here’s how it goes.

    1. Download and install any PDF printer. For e.g. PrimoPDF

    2. Go to the regular non mobile scribd document and note the uniqueID in the doucments web address ( string of numbers, for ex. http://www.scribd.com/doc/60232123/)

    3. Right click on the page and select View Page Source. And search/find (Ctrl-F) for access_key and note down the string which is between the quotes.

    E.g. key-13davbcdewnewn9m5w02

    4. Now copy and paste the link below into your address bar and replace each field with the numbers you noted down in steps 2 and 3 (see link below) and press enter.

    5. Click on the print link in top left corner. In the pop up that comes up select print which is under standard quality.

    6. Print to the PDF printer you installed.

      That strategy does not work for the file I want to download. I followed all your steps to a T.

      I used the non-mobile Google Chrome as you said. Here is the file I wanted to download:

      1. You are right, i just tried that method again today and the document loaded, but the download/print buttons were grayed out.

        I remember last time the document I loaded had an orange “Download” button, the one i just tried had a dollar amount in it, maybe thats the reason idk.

        Im going to try some things.

        the I/O error I havent seen, i just tried it and got the same error. Might be the doc you are trying to get is messed up. What was it called?

          1.) Create scribd account and login (can login with facebook)

          2.) Upload any PDF

          3.) Now download PDF and it wont ask you to subscribe.

  570. It seems that Scribd has plugged all of the holes. I tried almost every method on the Internet without success, and then I noticed that the small print at the bottom of the page that says:

    “Want Premium Reader access… for free?
    Active Scribd users who contribute quality content to the Scribd library are automatically given free Premium Reader accounts. Upload your original documents and download this document, or any and as many other documents as you’d like for free! Upload Now”

    Just go to the document you want, click download and skip login. Scroll to the bottom of the paywall page and click Upload Now. Pick a file, describe it, and they’ll give you a link for the file you want.

    I can’t believe Scribd gets away with charging people for access to documents they didn’t create or even necessarily upload. They even charge to download public domain documents (unless you upload a file of your own).

    1. Sorry to say that almost all Down-loader’s have stopped working since the latest change to the system. Only workaround now is to follow the instructions mentioned in this article.

  591. i think the guys from scribd changed something as i can’t download anymore. i used to download using the method with the id number and the access_key and it worked but now i get “IO Error Streaming document”. do u know another method? thank you!

    1. I’ve found that using the ID number and access key method still works about half the time so I try it first. There must be variables to their system and the code generated at the time of the upload. Or maybe they have security-fixed some of the documents but not all!

  631. Update: The method of using the ID number and key access code does still work some of the time. I have found that newer uploads can generate the io or srb error but if there are multiple copies of the same book try the older upload from a few years back. Sure, you can always upload for the even exchange but sometimes it’s easier not to. 🙂

  633. Found a way to download docs that worked today for me. I was trying to use the accesskey http://d1.scribdassets.com/ScribdViewer.swf?document_id=163406576&access_key=key-1g0dpe6bkpzqsejw9mnq&page=1&viewMode=scroll\ , an error message came up saying that the document was embedded anymore. I went back to just viewing the document and click on the EMBED tab at the top and another screen came up. At bottom right of screen I saw Scribd and an arrow next to it. I click on arrow and it allowed me to get a pdf of the doc.

    First I dont find access-key, but then I find it in the document source. Then I copy-paste the access key and document id to your link:

    and see the wanted pdf.

    1. I guess you probably got this doc by now but if not just use Chrome browser go to mobile site of scribd, change your screen resolution to ipad am using chrome extension for this. Refresh the page and you can read the full pdf online, download it or whatever else you want to do with it. Hope that helps.

    I used the http://d1.scribdassets.com/ScribdViewer.swf?document_id=108992419&access_key=key-13davbcdewnewn9m5w02 method to download a bunch of books and it worked perfectly! However, I’ve tried to use it to download other books and it says that the “document no longer has a flash embed.” Do you know how could I work around this? Below are the books I’m trying to download. Do you know what should I change in my method so I can download them? or would it be specific for each one? I’m in no way expecting for you to download these books, but I’m simply sharing them so perhaps you can let me know what is inherently wrong with the method I’m using.

      Thanks for writing in. Docs you have listed are entirely download disabled by the author. Few options left are to take screenshots or request a book to the author itself. Sorry about that!

  650. Instead of relying on others, I put together a list of instructions (for PC users) so you can create your own PDF. It’s a little messy, but it does the job. Also, the PDF file gets watermarked on the first page (unless you register).
    1. Download Firefox
    2. Download and install “Save Images” Firefox plugin (this will download all the images on the page)
    3. Open Firefox, go to Scribd page you want to download
    4. Browse through all the pages so everything gets downloaded
    5. Use the “Save Images” plugin and download all the images on the page to a new folder
    6. Open folder with downloaded .JPG files; change view to Large Icons
    7. Delete duplicate images or images that do not pertain to the book
    8. Download and install “A-PDF Merger”
    9. Open A-PDF Merger
    10. Add Files from downloaded folder
    12. Sort by Date Modified (so it saves the pages in the correct order)
    12. Press Merge

  672. I can confirm that the September 2012 approach still works–but I could only get the resulting URL to work in IE, not in Firefox–it’s just a URL, no need to play games with Firefox extensions. It was also dog slow, it was printing at only a few pages per minute. All the text has been converted to images, my .pdf file is about 1 mb/page and black and white.

  687. I have seen a lot of articles on Scribd and I was also very annoyed with the idea of need to submit article or to pay for download. But one thing I noted the most annoying is that it is also pretty common that the articles hosted on scribd can actually be found outside the website for free without subscription (as if the uploader download the article from somewhere and upload into this website). So if the above methods fails, and if you not in great urgency or rush, you can try to find the article outside this website.

    The trick is to google not the title of the article, but a segment of the content itself as in 1 – 2 sentences.

    By the way the ID and key method still work sometime, although I sometime printed in .xps form instead.
